Due to roadworks at Kew Central and Stop & Go Traffic Controllers on all 4 corners it is suggested we meet at an alternate location for our southern run.
Our old location on the side of the Highway is too dangerous with traffic passing at 110kph and more so now with the growth in traffic volume, it is therefore suggested we meet at the John’s River Rest area just before the Old Rosie’s Cafe (which is now closed). Die hard coffee addict’s will have to satisfy themselves beforehand or wait until we reach our destination. This will remain until further notice and roadworks completed. The reason for this being is a few of us met at the old Qi Coffee (Qi Coffee is now permanently closed) this morning and realised that the group would be severely disrupted and split up on our departure due to the disruption to traffic flow. Meeting times will remain the same so allow yourself an extra 15 min travel time. (Why not bring along a thermos for your first hit). Servo does not open until 10am.
